The Village hosts 10 generous guest rooms with 4 spacious artist studios for artist residencies and retreats as
well as 2 larger 100m2 apartments and 3 smaller 50m2 apartments which can be used for foreign staff or rented
out to guests. The Village also hosts the local staff, having their own space in the back of the Village
and bringing a unique and inclusive community feeling to BAO Zanzibar.
The entire Village is sloped for solar energy production, the roof is large enough for powering the entire resort
with solar power. Thanks to the sloped roof, the solar panels are not visible from within the resort.
